An educational add-on programme runs USD 2,000–6,000 per person for 4–5 days. International flights are excluded. Шэньчжэнь is usually paired with Гуанчжоу or Hong Kong rather than used as a standalone destination.

3–4 nights is sufficient for a focused technology delegation. Most groups combine Шэньчжэнь with Гуанчжоу (1 hour by metro) or add it to a longer China itinerary.

Октябрь–Декабрь and Март–Май are ideal — comfortable temperatures and low humidity. Avoid Июнь–Сентябрь (typhoon season, high humidity). For company visits, Шэньчжэнь works year-round as its tech economy does not slow during national holidays.

Most nationalities (UK, EU, Australia, NZ, Japan, S. Korea) enter visa-free for up to 15 days as of 2026. US, Canada and India nationals require a standard tourist (L) or group travel visa. Шэньчжэнь also has a separate Qianhai free-trade zone 5-day visa-free policy for some nationalities.

Шэньчжэнь Bao'an International Airport (SZX) serves direct routes from South-East Asia, the Middle East and some European hubs. Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) is 1 hour away with more international routes. High-speed rail reaches Гуанчжоу in 30 minutes and Hong Kong West Kowloon in 30 minutes.

Executive delegations can visit organisations such as BYD (factory and showroom), DJI (flagship store and drone lab), Tencent and Huawei, plus the Huaqiangbei electronics market. Specific visits are confirmed during planning based on availability.

Nanshan District is best for tech delegations — close to Tencent, DJI and most major tech campuses. Futian CBD suits groups needing government offices and the convention centre. All accommodation is 4-star standard.
